Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid services and subscriptions offered on OnRoadCost (https://onroadcost.com), operated by Josh Riders.

1. Subscription Plans

OnRoadCost offers a premium subscription plan at ₹150 for 3 months that provides access to advanced tools including unlimited trip calculations, Recovery Fare calculator, Balance Sheet, trip history, and other premium features. The subscription auto-renews via Razorpay every 3 months.

2. Cancellation Policy

• You may request subscription cancellation at any time through the app.
• Cancellation requests are processed within 24 hours of submission.
• Upon cancellation, your premium access will continue until the end of your current billing period (3-month cycle).
• After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the free tier.
• No further charges will be made after cancellation is processed.
• No refund will be issued for the current/remaining billing period.

3. Refund Policy

All payments made on OnRoadCost are non-refundable. Once a payment is successfully processed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

• Subscription payments: Non-refundable. Premium access is granted immediately upon payment, and the digital service is considered delivered at the time of activation.
• Vehicle slot payments: Non-refundable once a vehicle has been added to the slot. Each payment unlocks one vehicle slot permanently.
• One-time service fees: Non-refundable once the service has been initiated or delivered (e.g., guarantor matching, loan assistance).
• Guarantor Matching Service: The subscription fee paid to access the "I Need a Guarantor" form is non-refundable. Payment grants you access to the matching platform only. OnRoadCost does not guarantee that a guarantor will be found. Matching depends entirely on the availability and willingness of registered guarantors in your area. No refund will be issued if a match is not found, if the guarantor declines, or if the loan is not approved.
• Accidental payments: If you believe a payment was made in error or without your authorization, please contact us within 24 hours. We will investigate on a case-by-case basis, but are not obligated to issue refunds.

4. Free Trial

OnRoadCost offers a free trial that includes your first vehicle and 3 free trip calculations. Since no payment is involved in the free trial, no refund is applicable for the trial period. After the free trial limit is exhausted, a paid subscription is required to continue using calculation features.

4A. Guarantor Matching Service — No Refund

• No matching guarantor is found in your area.
• A guarantor is found but declines to proceed.
• A guarantor agrees but the bank rejects the loan application.
• You change your mind after submitting the form.
• You find a guarantor through other means after paying.
• The loan is approved but on unfavorable terms.

OnRoadCost provides a platform and matching service only. We do not guarantee results. The payment is for access to the service, not for a guaranteed outcome. By paying and submitting the form, you acknowledge this policy.

5. Vehicle Slot

Each payment unlocks one vehicle slot. Once a vehicle is added to a paid slot, the payment is non-refundable regardless of whether you continue using the vehicle or not. Vehicles cannot be deleted from your account (you may only edit vehicle details).

6. Why No Refunds?

OnRoadCost provides digital services and tools that are accessible immediately upon payment. Since the service is delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," refunds are not applicable. This is standard practice for digital subscription services.
